One Summer Chicago Banking Coalition – Safe, Affordable Banking Options During COVID-19

The One Summer Chicago Banking Coalition is a group of 16 financial institutions that offer banking options for One Summer Chicago youth participants with no overdraft, no fees, and low minimums.

All participating financial institutions offer account opening online or through a remote opening process in response to COVID-19. Use the links below to visit each financial institution’s website and apply.

Online account opening is often limited to those 18 and over OR those with a  custodian and may require a deposit, but please check with each  financial institution for details. Banks known to allow online opening for youth under 18 are highlighted in red below.  Contact the financial institution directly for instructions for youth under 18. If you are under 18 and you need to open an account online without making an initial deposit, please use the CONTACT US form or email us at info@econcouncil.org for a referral.

Due to COVID-19, many financial institutions may have limited hours or may only be taking appointments at their branches. Please check with each financial institution you would like to visit for up-to-date details via the links below.
